Im completely done drinking and smoking for a few months *Before Pic*

    i feel like drinking and smoking is getting me chubby..
    well i dont feel iknow.. i gained around 25 lbs just from smoking and drinking more often since last january and to me.. gaining wait or getting fat again is the worst thing that could possibly happen to me next to death or cancer in my book..:(
    I can handle not drinking for a few months..but whenever i try to lay back on the pot i always find myself smoking in the end and eating late which is the killer :(

    smoking=pot
    drinking=alcohol

    i used to weigh 240 at 5'6 and i got down to about 165
    a few years back. Im about 185 ish now
    My thinnest was 165

    My new goal is 160.
    im confident i can do it by june

    All i really do is crunches and 40 minutes of cardio on the tredmil (10 incline/3.5 mph)
    I want to start lifting but i dont know where to start

    Start simple. Commit to three days of lifting and two days of cardio, or whatever floats your boat. Concentrate on cleaning up your diet in general, watch the protein, and try to stick to it :wiggle:

    Saying you are going to give it up for a few months is doing nothing but setting yourself up for failure and will bring you right back to square 1.

    Perhaps just keep the drinking down to a moderate level.... Some people seem to be unaware of the fact that a fun time can be had without being trashed. Maybe just drink a couple times to a month and limit yourself to a couple of drinks. I never unstood why people have such an obsession with getting drunk and never being able to limit themselves to a couple drinks.

    quit being a pussy and start lifting weights. Drop the drinkign and smoking, clean up your diet. Don't cry about your looks unless you do all you can to look good.
