I've never had a 2 stage trigger. Are they worth the cost?

Personal Opinion, but I don't think they are. If you're looking for a cheapish trigger the bill springfield job is the way to go.

2nd bill springfield. I still can't say I'm 100% comfortable with my amateur trigger job but all the happy results seem to speak for themselves.

yeah, from most online vendors seems like 180 is the target price for most LR's stripped

    They were both RRA

The standard was $70 the 2 stage was $180

I used the standard parts kit in the other 2 AR's I built so I just ordered that one again.

If I recall correctly the standard trigger pull is somewhere in the 6.5-7.5 # range. And yes the bill springfield can be had in 3 or 4 pound pulls.

I've got 2 FCGs with Bill Springfield now for the 4lb job. At $35/ea it's totally worth it. Sooooooo much of an improvement.

Get the RRA LPK. The 2-stage is not worth it. Hunt a used one later on. I dont have one and a buddy does. Very little difference.

Have LPKs gone up that much? This is crazy.

A few months ago standard RRA LPKs were $50 and the RRA 2 stage NM LPK from Pete at Legal Transfers was around $90... shipped. You might still call him to see what price he can do...
