Should i join the AF and get a degree that way? Is it fun / rewarding? Do you get paid well?

i realize these are all questions i could be asking a recruiter but i haven't even gotten to that step yet...these were just questions i had thought of a couple days ago while trying to imagine where my life is headead. :hsd:

a recruiter is like a used car salesman. He's gonna tell you what you want to know in order to get you to sign up. they may be a little more straight talking though since the AF always has an excess of applicants.

Well most people join up to get some form of college degree.. very few acually do it. They come up with atleast 100 different reasons why they can not go to school while enlisted.

I was 19, no college, figured the Air Force would fix my teeth and send me to college. Almost five years later I'm one semester into grad school, have applied to OTS once already, had braces for four years (perfect teeth now), and have had a kick ass time doing stuff like going to Iraq, launching out bombers at the buttcrack of dawn, and serving in Honor Guard.

Cliffs: Get with the program, I'm 24 and have had a kick ass time over the last five years. DO IT! Sign up for Crew Chief on anything, they'll have no problem finding you a job!
