I test drove and put the money down for this 1998 323is yesterday. As soon as the check clears, I'll pick it up.

It's a 1998 323is 5-speed with the premium package. It's got 101k miles. Avus blue exterior over Dove Gray interior. It is seriously the cleanest 10 year old car I have ever seen. The owner has all of the service and maintenance records since new.

It's got some mods installed too:
    UUC shifter and DSSR
    Dinan engine software
    Dinan airbox
    Dinan adjustable sway bars
    6 piece clear lights
Brand new Michelin Pilot Exalto tires
BavAuto drilled rotors & stainless braided brake lines

All OEM parts are included too.

Here are all the pics I got from the seller:

Would be better if it was an M5 too, I guess...

    Looks pretty good.

Maybe it's just me, but it looks kinda high in the first pic

OEM springs = monstrous front wheel gap :hs:

I may get H&R OE Sport springs and some appropriate dampers to bring the front down an inch and the rear down just a half inch.

Be careful with the door panels...they like to come apart and/or detach from the door...Other than that those E36s are good cars. My uncle's has 190k miles on it and still runs and looks very nice.

Are we guessing exact amount? Id say 7,800. Just because of the milage. Even though 101k is about normal for the year.

    Close.

    $8000

I think 101 is pretty low mileage for a 10 year old car. That's only 10k per year. I drive 15k per year just commuting to work.

Especially for German made engines. Hit 253,000 on a 17 year old car before its first real problem. My hard driving was probably the result of the broken rocker arm. Shes resting in my driveway right now until the parts come in this weekend.

You paid too much. Last year I bought a 97 M3 with 84k miles for 12k.

Meh. I feel good about the deal. I was willing to pay a little more for a car that had been babied and included documentation of the entire maintenance history...and some decent mods...
