Any of you going to purchase ?

I've found somewhere offering it cheap but I dunno if I want it or not. I loved the first on the PC but I'm worried it may not work right on a console :sad2:

It's pretty, but the physics at the most realistic settings are a joke. They made it overly impossible to just fly an airplane, let alone fly one in combat.

what they're trying to simulate is that in real life you can't just take the stick and go wall to wall and not stall especially at high speed.

the problem is the xbox analog stick has like 1 " of travel so you end up going to wall to wall and stall.

IL-2 is best left on PC where it shines.

It really helps to turn down the stick sensitivity a lot...but it's still pretty frustrating.

Just flying around is way too hard. Flying an airplane isn't as complicated as they are making it seem. Yes, combat maneuvers can be hard, but when it's too tough to just make a simple turn something is wrong.

My favorite flight sim ever is still the old Red Baron game from like 92. :o

I love the WWII ones though. I'll probably give this one a look on PC eventually.

Do any of the PC Logitech sticks work on the Xbox 360? I used to play the shit out of that game with a bunch of people from Ars on PC.

Having the draw distance at max, low resolution and shooting at the first black pixel that showed up was so  in a dogfight.
