Hello, I just installed IIS and I'm having problems with .asp scripts. Everytime I run one of the scripts in the root, it gives me a "HTTP 500 - Internal server error ". HTML files display fine but not for asp files. I checked the Event Log and the error it displays is:

The server failed to load application '/LM/W3SVC/1/ROOT'. The error was 'No such interface supported'.

Another problem is it doesn't seem to access the default document. If I type http://localhost:82 it doesn't display my index.html (I've set it as one of the default document files). I have to go to http://localhost:82/index.html for it to work.

I've only ran Apache before so I'm totally clueless to how IIS works. So does anyone knows how to fix this?
