I have an IIS server running coldfusion...

Does anyone know what controls whether a file is displayed in the browser or prompted to be downloaded? Does this have to do with the server mime types? Or is this client dependent? I want to force certain txt files to be downloaded instead of displayed. Perhaps there is a coldfusion tag to force this?

    TIA

why the fuck would you want to run IIS, and admit it?
why the fuck would you want to run CF, and admit it?

Thanks for your valuable contribution, asshat. There are specific business requirements for this server, so gtfo.

Business requirements are things like "The user can create a report"

A system requirement is a extension of a business requirement. Think of it like a what (business) and a how (system). So you have specific system requirements for this server, so gtfo.
