A nice little old lady (about 40-45) came by my desk and asked about the gallon of water on it. Very polite this women was, we actually get along so it was easy for me to converse supporting my points with her.

anyways, she asked about it and I said I usually drink 1-2 a day and she said "you buy one of those every single day?" When I told her I did and it was no big deal she said "yeah but thats everyday, that must cost you over a length of time" I said "well I notice that you either have a coffee from Tim Horton's (local like starbucks coffee chain) in the morning or a diet pepsi in the afternoon. This gallon is 89 cents at the store...while I bet your cofee and pepsi is at least double that" SHe thought long and hard at that one for a minute and said "well you can just fill that up in teh sink :)" I said "you can make your own coffee"

    :)

never EVER comapre Tim Horton's is like Starbucks. Tim Horton's coffee is a)not outragously over price, b)Timmy's customers are anal retentive pricks (long story) and most important of all, c)timmy's coffee actually tastes good

Besides hockey and beer, Timmy's is one of Canada's greatest national treasures

I MAY have overreacted just a tad. :o Its just that we are just a little defensive about it.

But there are still a million other ways to describe it, and if I was an english major, I'm sure I could up with a couple, but I'm not so I won't

alright, you know what...Tim Horton's sucks ass..there I said it. I don't like this double double or triple double or triple triple double single double triple shit at all....they say they brew that shit every 20 minutes?? Bullshit! I hate coffee because of them, they actually burn the damn beans before brewing that crap. Oh and they overcharge on their sammiches...I want double the mat I gotta order another sammich, which is only like 4 inches big and they don't even toast the bun :wtc:

so Tim Horton's can kiss my glutes!!!

    I kid I kid

even if she made her own coffee she would still have to buy the coffee + cream + sugar.

I only drink distilled bottled water myself.
Arguement against it is that bottled water is less regulated than tap water.

actually I meant Tim's customers aren't anal retentive pricks.

A double cafe mocachino et al isn't real coffee.
