I liked SF4 a lot more.
I prefer BlazBlue, but really, two very different kinds of fighting games... apples and oranges. I'll always have a soft spot for Street Fighter just because it's Street Fighter, but I find myself playing/enjoying BlazBlue more. I personally enjoy the outrageous moves/characters, how each character is unique (hello Ken/Ryu/Sakura/Akuma/etc) and the music in BlazBlue > IN-DE-STRUCTIBLE!
Good video though... both of them seemed pretty level headed about it. They are both fantastic games.
Does it really matter?
Fighting games don't really "Compete" with eachother in terms of what is "better". They are all different and all of them have way different mindgames and ways you have to play the game.
It's hard to even want to compare and contrast the two.
play whichever u enjoy more
i like both
The only thing you can outright say is Online is better in terms of netcode and lobbies in blazblue...
and button config is much faster on blazblue (This helps with tourneys)
But even then those have nothing to do with the actual game and mechanics involved around the game.
i love blazblues lobby and spectator modes
sf4 fuckin FAILS hardcore in that aspect
never played blazblue, but it looks like some anime shit. however, i am also sick of everyone choosing ryu/ken/akuma when i play SF4 online
BlazBlue's online & netcode > SF. I don't think I've ever had a laggy match online in BB... the "The Wheel of Fate is Turning" part is usually laggy but as soon as the round is announced, things seem to synchronize.
I wish I could get into these games, but I figure that I'm at a huge disadvantage without a stick
Street Fighta fo life though.
get the fuck out of the SF4 thread
