this is not a joke my friends....could this be the ultimate bump-fire trick?

go to youtube and search for "poor mans machinegun" or PMMG....this guy shows you how to use a rubberband on your trigger to allow you to bumpfire easily off your shoulder and shoot more accurately than if u did it off your hip with the traditional method....check it out and lemme know if anybody has actually tried this method and how well it worked....yours truly...OUT!:bigthumb:

Its plausible. But it would take quite a bit of engineering to make a machine to chamber a round after another was fired.
Or have a watch capable of slowing down time for you

I can only normally get like 4 rounds off bumpfiring it fromt he shoulder. I will try this technique next time.

this would be a great new trend at the range...seeing all the AR guys with rubber bands wrapped around their lowers and confused looks on peoples faces till they see a real show. The real .25 cent trigger job....HA!

Would many public ranges even condone this?

Reading the letter, it says that you must consciously pull the trigger.. You're not pulling the trigger, it's bouncing off of your finger...

doesn't the letter say that a $.02 rubber band is a federal crime? :dunno:

You are pulling the trigger though. The rubber band is there to pull the trigger back into your finger faster making it easier to bumpfire.

But if you imagine your gun as stationary and believe that you are the moving object, then you are pulling the trigger. If there was a camera on the rifle pointed at the trigger housing, all it would see is your finger pulling the trigger really fast

    jesus christ i hate lawyers

now the first part of that letter says that as long as there is one pull of the trigger per shot then that is legal - it doesn't matter if the trigger moves 3 or 4 times per second

the second part says that any device that allows the weapon to discharge more than one shot per trigger pull is illegal - THAT INCLUDES RUBBER BANDS (he does not make the distinction whether that is possible)

but since the rubber band does not allow the above in this case, then that too is legal
