Have you ever been to the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels? Do you have pictures?

Need to specify Los Angeles and Louisiana. For a second there I was thinking there was a huge old cathedral in Louisiana that I had no idea about and was excited about going to shoot it. (40 mins from the LA / TX border)

Is it as nice as it seems? I read it cost something like $180 million to build.

I didnt take that but I did photograph that cathedral when I was there (I'm in school now so I don't have it). What's special about the one youre talking about?

went there for a catholic wedding. NOTE TO EVERYONE: CATHOLIC WEDDINGS ARE HELLA LONG. :o the architecture is modern, so dont expect something gothic. I think most ppl think it's a hit or miss. inside's nice.
the city's building a school across the street, and one of the buildings looks like snake mountain from heman. :o

There's a really nice church that just got done in dowtown Houston that cost a cool $50 mil... not as nice as that, but pretty impressive none the less. Forgot the name, but when it was opened, all kinds of child loving catholics came from all around the country.

no clue, not catholic... don't really even care. The only reason I know about this one is because its right up the road from my wife's family business, and the day of opening, they had the road shut down w/ news crews everywhere like the fucking pope was coming or something. :o
