Are you then obligated to do all the housework?

Seems i'm in the shit with the mrs because i wrongly figured that wasnt the case.

    Any advise on this one?

clean the house, its only natural because you aren't doing anything, you can't expect her to work AND clean the house while you are doing nothing.

Its insulting, see things from her perspective, she isn't less human just because she is a woman, she also feels pain for doing such work, so share the burden, its only fair.

    Short answer: Yes
    Long answer: YYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS
Even longer answer: The fact that this is even a question means:
    A) You're a troll - which is the most likely case and I hope you get banned for trolling the Asylum which is one of only 2-3 places where trolling is prohibited.....go forth and sin no more.
    B) You're lazy - which may explain why you got fired in the first place. Change that shit before your wife fires you also.
    C) You're spoiled - Mommy and daddy did everything for you growing up and now that you're an adult, you want that to continue. It likely won't.
    D) You're extraordinarily wealthy - in which case you should stop being stupid and just hire someone to do it for you.

Bottom....do the fucking house work.....all of it.

If she's working and you're not, why would you NOT take care of the house while she's paying the mortgage?

This. You should be splitting fairly when both employed anyhow.

Yes, you should do the housework while shes working. She shouldnt have to spend 8 hours a day at work and come home to pick up after you.

Seriously.. yeah, you should be doing it. Once you get a job you can reassign the chores between yourselves.

lol..a lot of men have the dream of being the "house wife" if it means you can sit home all day and just do chores and take care of the kids.

Answer to your question has already been answered.

If she works and you don't, then clean. If you both work then split things to a point and call it good.

If you expect her to cook, clean, and pay the bills you are a prick but I know people like that so I guess it's not unexpected.
