other than a 1911?
G21. It's a 4.6" barrel, which I figure is ~4. Can't go wrong with reliability, low cost, and simplicity.
im looking for the same type but i think ive decided a 1911
i like the glock 38 too
For carry or fun/home? Personally I'd probably be looking at the s&w 3rd generation autos.
Something like the 4566 maybe http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=103135515
Sig P220. I have a glock in .45 also but I shoot the sig better. Ymmv.
I would suggest you consider the Dan Wesson Bob Tail... in .45 or 10mm
Sig P220 carry
didnt know they made a cbob in anything other than stainless
I like mine.
I didn't want to be the one to bring up the 10mm, but since it has been brought up... Get a 10mm.
why not a 1911?
sig p220 FTW
I shoot my 220 better than my 1911's. Yes I love my .45's.
I just disposed of my G21. G21SF might be a better choice with the smaller grip, but the recoil on a G21 is pretty ferocious compared to my P220 and the single 1911 I once rented (but not the Baby Eagle). Probably something to do with most of the mass being in that huge slide... Baby Eagle has a similar problem with a heavier slide and the metal frame does nothing to buffer that recoil.
Love mine. It's my second handgun and even though I've had less range time with it than my USPc, I'm a better shot with it.
I'd like to try an M&P45 mid size. 4" barrel with 10 round mag cap.
My glock is the .30.
S&W M&P 45c
how do you like it? how is the snap out of a 3" .45?
link to 4" dan wesson cbob in black?
Very controllable I love it. It is more of a push. See if squid will chime in he has the 29 and 30.
