I know there's a sticky for favorite software, but I found a fantastic application and I don't think people check the sticky very often.

Pulsar for mac. It's a great app for streaming sirius or xm on your mac. You don't even need to pay the extra fee for all the channels or CD quality.:bowdown:

It's 15 bucks for the unlocked version. The demo adds noise to the sound after 20 minutes.

Then try the demo. Keep restarting it every 20 minutes. :o

SiriusXM just recently shut down StarPlayr and SiriusMac because it infringes on the TOS for their service. Those two apps were free.

It's only a matter of time before they catch wind of this and anyone who paid $15 with be SOL.

Out of shear frustration with the web player Sirius makes you use (no song/artist info, slow to load channels) I tried an older version of SiriusMac and it works! Tracker info and all!

Download it and install but maybe not run any updates. I think it went up to a version of 2.4 and had some XM support and that's when shit went sour.

Shit. Go to www.nicemac.com/forums and register. Download the Starplayr app and when you enter your registration info click "all" under the channels selection.

*BOOM* You get the "best of XM" selection (if you're a Sirius user) for free. At least I am and I don't pay for that. Yet here I am streaming The Virus channel free.
