    Glock 22, or 1911

both are reliable guns, Concealable, and carry enough punch to put a target down.

I also read an article written by a guy who survived a SHTF scenario in South America, he recommended a handgun above all else. Basically you have the protection of a firearm without raising suspicion in a population.

Of course I'm assuming this is a SHTF scenario and not a hunting in the bush issue.

Ammo, mags and maintenance is another issue...

XD, my other gun is an AR15 and that wouldn't be too practical in a riot / end of the world / zombie out break.

Yea, probably my XD too. If I decide to take my tantal for some odd reason, I'd switch the stock out to its original folding stock.

Probably my GP100. Solid, reliable, and accurate with the ability to handle both .38 and .357.

depends where I am bugging out to and why I am bugging out.

If it is needed for defense, I am going with one of my 1911s or my BHP

If it is needed long term for hunting, I will probably go with one of my 22Lr rifles, ammo is abundant and light and it is enough for small game hunting.

If right now, realistically, my AR carbine, it's the lightest rifle I own with the most mags and ammo

if I were to expand outside of my collection, a .22 bolt action sporter, light weight, reliable, tons of ammo which in turn is light weight too

G19. I have mags and ammo. Just packed most of it into a 50cal can yesterday so it would be really easy to carry as well.

My Browning BL-22, accurate, more likely to be of use than my ar, can carry a metric shitpotload of ammo for it.

    most likely my G21

If I were in a situation where I had to stnad my ground and hold down a room or something, it'd be my Saiga 12 with 00 buckshot hands down.
