Wow, your post is hard to track... Is english your first language?

For 600 you're going to get 1, maybe 2 lenses.

For portraits you're going to want to look at either the Canon 50mm 1.4 or the Canon 85mm 1.8. They're about $300 and $330 respectively.

For a walk around lens the Tamron 17-50mm 2.8 is just about the best deal for that focal length. It's wide enough for landscapes (most of the time) and also zooms in for good portraits. It costs about $440, but you can get them used for $400 or less.

For a med-high telephoto zoom I'd suggest the Canon 70-200mm 4L. It's about $550, and is worth every penny, really a bargain for L glass.

I have the Nikon 85 1.8, I love it for portraits. Id either go for that or the 70-200 f/4 (I wish Nikon made a lens like that :-( )

I'd spend the money on a 10-22mm Canon USM right now. My other lenses are fine.
