It's impossible to leave without buying the wwb value packs. No really, it is. My girlfriend called me on the way home from worked and asked me to pick up some crap from Walmart. When I left I had her stuff, plus 500 rounds of 9mm and 300 rounds of .45acp.

    WWB owns me. :hsugh:

I don't own anything chambered in the calibers they offer so it's quite easy for me to leave without one :hsugh: :mamoru:

I'm that way with CCI. They run out of it so fast where I live that I always buy any boxes of .45 they have. They always have lots of WWB.

Ours just remodeled and they don't carry as many guns, but they do carry more ammo now, and accessories. Go figure.

They had 4 boxes of 9mm left, I'll probably go back and buy those tomorrow. :hs:

No .223 at my local wallyworld. I have enough WWB 9mm right now to walk away from the SG dept.

I get the STRANGEST looks when I buy ammo at walmart. Bought 500 .45 and the girl behind the counter started talking like I was going to kill her.

Then another time, I had an old-timer and he said I needed to start reloading which got us talking about guns.

    It's hit-or-miss

I go in to buy tons of ammo just to see if I can get them to give me those looks :mamoru: More often than not they just cheerfully ask me if that's all that I need :wtc:. I guess they sell a lot of ammo around here.

The only common calibers I own are .22, .223, .30, 7.62, and 12 ga. None of them for handguns

I buy only the best. I buy Remington :o

I too must admit to some sick pleasure in their uneasiness. But I can easily walk out without buying any, so I think your theory needs more testing.

"How many 100rd boxes of 9mm do you have?"
    "Nine."
    "Ok."
    "............."
    "...........uh, do you want one?"
    "No, I want them all."

I absolutely hate Wal-Mart. The only reason I will ever go in there is for socks and jeans. And that's only because I can't find any size 16 socks or jeans that comfortably accomodate both my 19" calves and my 36" waist at the same time at any other stores.
When I go in, I know exactly what I'm getting, I get it, walk to the checkout, and leave as soon as possible.
Just about everyone in there is 80+ years old, doesn't speak english, or has 3 screaming kids with them.
The employees are useless. They don't know where things are in their own departments, and there will be piles of shit in the middle of the aisle, and they'll walk right past it. The cashiers are the slowest of any store I've ever been to. I can check myself out at the self-checkout aisles in other stores much faster than these idiots who are actually paid to check people out.
    God I hate that store.

That is one of the only things that I dont like about WalMart.
I have actually become self sufficient at finding stuff there and now most probably know more than the workers do.

I also HATE it when they stop carrying stuff I use.
