Be a friend and support her. Cheer and congratulate her instead of seeing that baby as some sort of curse. Tell her to relax, and that its probably nothing, and that if a baby comes she has something to look forward too. If she complains about her not being ready and so, tell her that she doesn't have to worry and its still too early to tell anything. And if she goes about 'abortion' and all that kind of crap, say to her that she shouldn't abort but adopt the child if possible.

I Know she dosen't want to abort, but I don't think she is ready or admitting about it..... I do support her, but I feel pressured because I'm the only one she told. I'm happy I will be an "aunt". just worried because she is...:hs:

If it is too early for a pregnancy test, why is she assuming these symptoms relate to pregnancy? Usually enough time has passed for conclusive results when these symptoms appear.

    Eh?
I get those kinds of symptoms occasionally before my period - they aren't surefure 'pregnancy' indicators. However, when I thought there was a chance I might be pregnant, I started paying attention to those kinds of things in minute detail. There's no sense in fussing over it until she's taken a test and/or visited a doctor.

my g/f gets there occasionally, especially when she is all stressed out (read: frequently) it helped her to get on regular birth control. it keeps her periods more regular so they aren't as intense, and when she is a little late, she knows she probably isn't pregnant so its less stressful.

Yeah, better safe than sorry. If that kind of pain and illness is unusual for her then she should just go have a Dr. check her out.

Being a person with cystic ovaries myself, and knowing lots of other women who have the same condition, I have learned that the earlier you catch it, the better. There are ways to treat them and prevent future ones from forming, but if you sleep on it too long, you could be in the ER wanting to die, or actually dying. This is a worst case scenario, though, I have a girlfriend who nearly bled to death twice from ovarian cysts in one of her ovaries, and then she finally had that BEEOTCH of an ovary removed entirely. I am not trying to scare the crap out of you or her.

Fortunately, I have not had anything near as bad as that, but I do take meds to treat it, and I think that is extremely helpful thus far.
