Well I do open carry pretty frequently and I sure as hell wouldn't do it with a drop-leg holster

I OC to the same places I CC...just depends where I'm coming from/going to really :dunno:

Still wouldn't do it with a drop leg...It'd have to be custom made leather with some fancy stitching/design on it with a chrome 1911 with mother of pearl handles.

Come to think of it, I'd love to OC like that now :x:

What's the company that does custom leather holsters with the texas star on them? I know I've seen the picture posted here before but I can't think of the name for the life of me :o

If it were the wild west I would be carrying a rifle, not some sissy handgun.

Hypothetical wild west, shoot em up bang bang...

    My Limited Glock rig...

80 rounds of .40 cal should get me to my rifle?

Or 92 rounds of 9mm ala Limited glock?

Ultimate reliability and go Production 9mm?

Or maybe replace that with the 1911?

A little much on the tooling, but that's close to what I'd go for.
Hard-chrome or semi-polish stainless 1911, with an 8-rd mag loaded, on my hip, but with probably L2 retention (holster tension plus top strap), and a quad mag pouch at about 10:30-11:00, holding 4x10-rd mags. All loaded with HST 230gr.
    Leather belt, holster, magpouch.
Probably would ditch the bone-handled knife though, in favor of something a little more utilitarian. Oh, and I'd put an OC canister at about 1:00 for those less-lethal situations.

Posting from the phone so I don't know if it's been answered or not but those are made by Tucker.

Google Tucker gun leather/holsters. He's got a weird Yahoo business site address.
