Explain to me how after two years of NO squats whatsoever and nothing but leg presses, leg extensions, leg curls, and GHR's, my squat is far beyond what it was when I stopped. When I injured my groin I could barely do 275 for 5 sets of 5, now I'm murdering that weight and hit an easy 425lb squat today which brings my total up to 1325 (1500 here we come). Now that I'm squatting again it will only keep going up barring some unforeseen injury. But dong them close-stance olympic style, I felt absolutely no hint of the groin pain that plagued me before. Leg presses are by no means a replacement for squats, but they're not useless either. Work yo quads, nigga.
