Do you think he could beat Cro Cop or Fedor on NYE? :eek4:

I guess it's a pretty big "if" though, hopefully he will pull through because if he loses this then one would think he would be going back to retirement yet again...but permanently this time.

nah not happening but we'll see how he handles against gonzaga...he did look amazing against tim the oaf sylvia...

however tim has no real fighting skills hes just tall with a long reach...in other words, hes fucking pathetic as a fighter.

last year, i would've said that cro cop would cave randy's face in

however, everybody's been predicting him getting pummelled by whomever his opponent is since the beginning of time

I don't think Randy could beat Fedor. I'm not sure about Cro Cop.

I think Randy will have a hard time with Gonzaga. Gonzaga has a very good chance of winning.
It might be better for the UFC if Gonzaga won....then they could do Couture v Cro Cop & Gonzaga v Fedor!! OR Couture v Fedor & Gonzaga v Cro Cop!! Either way awesome matches.

  5. I almost did for zuluzinho, because it was like 30:1 odds, and I figured the dude was so fat fedor might give himself an injury.

  6. why don't you see crocop doing anything to fedor? Crocop can stop the fight with one shot at almost any time, and he beat the fuck out of him the first time around. Not to mention fedor hasn't been fighting much recently.

I'd still take fedor, but crocop is a bad man.

    Randy will beat Gonzaga

  8. Jacare is also like 170lbs.

Gonzaga's definitely a big big boy, and Randy's weakness has always been being on his back, especially with a big guy on him. I don't know if Gonzaga can put him there, but he definitely could, with his size.

if i remember correctly, randy was essentially just locking jacare up the majority of the time

both come into fights with great gameplans, so it'd be interesting to see how they'd carry them out (if they could)

  11. a) how many times has jacare won the absolute division?

    b) if weight doesn't matter, why does ADCC do weight divisions?

    c) shut the fuck up

weight matters. it makes a huge difference at that. you didn't see any smaller fights in the OWGP for a reason (sans Minowa, but he gets a pass for being slightly retarded)

every sport has weight classes? i'm gonna try out for the featherweight division in the NBA :eek5:

I've said it a bunch of times and every time I did I got made fun of: Randy will beat Fedor before the year is over.

I also think he will shit-kick Gonzaga.

again, i can never count Randy out anymore, but Fedor is superior in just about every aspect of the game. he's probably just as good as randy with takedowns from the clinch even

only way i see anyone beating fedor will be his debut in the cage. If they put randy in their with him first i would say randy's chances go up 50%. new rules, different ring, etc... I know he will train the crud out for this, but i still think experience in the cage will help randy out in that situation.

if and when Fedor signs with the UFC they have to give him a title shot in his first fight. If they are giving Hendo a shot right off the bat they have to give one to the best fighter in the world.

I agree. Fedor truly is good at everything, especially grappling. But every giant must fall at some point, and with his conditioning, experience in the octagon, and ability to prepare for each opponent, I think with a little bit of luck, such as the year of the upset, Randy will bring him down.

Randy and Fedor are some of the most intelligent fighters in the sport. it'd be interesting to see how they'd neutralize each other in that respect

Gonzaga vs Couture - My money is on Couture

Fedor vs Couture - Fedor will probably win but Randy has a better chance than 90% of the other heavyweights out there.
