They would most likely still be made as coupes!

But with an Optional LS1, Standard Manual tranny, slightly re-designed interior and these rims... the car would have SOLD!

always have.. 120,000 miles... just minor shit that gets on my nerves.. although I'm afraid that the first major thing to go wrong with it will be the tranny.

Yeah thats the way it was with my last Grand Prix just a little thing here and there that got on my nerves but I never got them fixed. The 88-93's were the best 94-96 I think the production workers were all drunk, 97-02 Improved 2003- They shouldn't have made them 04 + need improvement in a few areas. What model do you have (SE, GT, GTP, GTX)?

I had one of those except in red when I was 16, but it was in poor shape. However the 3.4 DOHC + Getrag 282 (or was it 284 :noes: ) was fun as hell!

And 16k for that.... :bowrofl: Although if it had the getrag, quad leather buckets and a moonroof I'd go about 8-10k! :o

Because Monaro/GM/Pontiac is redesigning them, they aren't getting canned  Also the 05's have the LS2.

Would have faired much better if it was released in 1997, or even 2001.

nah pretty sure this was the last year which is why I bought one. They're gonna use the new chassis for the Camaro AFAIK. As long as GM keeps making at least one or two affordable RWD V8 sport/muscle cars I'm happy no matter what they badge it as

couldn't do it in 97 and have it compete with the T/A and Camaro but 02-03 would have been better as they canceled the Fbodies. I'm just glad I got one before they got canned

    Um.

Holden is redesigning the Monaro, yes- however it's still up in the air whether the GTO will be making a return after the redesign. So, in essence, the GTO is dead until noted otherwise.
