(Rapid fire competitions in Norway - Bolt actions vs. semi-autos)
Guns kill though
I wish I could do that.
...the way he operated that bolt
Did you get his phone number?
is jerking off dudes something you two have in common?
...jk. I hardly know the man, yet.
I couldn't do that with a semiautomatic with a scope.
A head sized target at 230m? That's over 250 yards
Yeah. I don't know how the hell these old guys do it. I was at the range today shooting my 10/22 at 50 and I was shooting decent groups, about 1/2" 6-shots pretty consistently. I was feeling pretty good about myself until I go downrage during a ceasefire and on my way back I'm looking at my groups alongside an older guy that was shooting at 100 yards. His groups were all pretty tight, about 2-3" apart with probably 10 shot groups. I ask him what he's shooting and he says a garand. I'm like "with irons?" and he's just like "yeah." My jaw practically dropped, this dude was at least 70 and had glasses like half an inch thick . I'm like fuck, I can barely see my targets at 100 yards at 9x magnification what the hell.
I go back to my bench and I look over and realize he had been shooting standing up off-hand the whole time. So yeah my 1/2" groups at 50 yards with 9x maginification off sand bags doesn't seem so cool anymore.
Last wednesday at the range, this guy had what appeared to be a 44 magnum for .22lr. He was shooting out the bullseye at 30 yards.
It's actually not quite as hard as it seems with a semi. I've shot 8" swingers at 300 yards pretty rapidly with an AR (not mine though). The biggest problem was timing it, since the swinging fucked up the target picture
Nice tactical reload at the end.
Did you guys see the television coverage?
I would have went and said something to him that's pretty impressive
Jesus Christ, it looks like he's making love to that rifle.
