A&P If only Canon made the same lens I use on our video cameras...

    for my DSLR's. I could live with one lens. Imagine a zoom lens that went from 12mm to 240mm, had an internal 2x extender, two built in ND filters, built in macro and an aperture of f/1.2


    I could get rid of all my other lenses and still be ahead of the game.

    what mount are canon video camera lenses?

    this might seem kinda obvious...but i'm guessing they are canon mount.

    C mounts. But the bigger issue is the size of the sensor. They're only 1/2" on our HD cameras compared to full frame on my 5D.

    I meant are the EF, like the still cameras. :mamoru:

    Actually they're not. They're industry standard C mounts so you can mount any video lens on them.

    That would own, Canon and Nikon would have to compete harder for your business.
