No kidding. I feel like a cheap-ass buying Monarch but I can't afford to load up a bunch of mags with Hornady or something.
I been stocking up on that while waiting for my upper. Does it shoot alright for you?
What's the hotness for 10/22 mags now?
Bitches are a PITA to load
I guess. I haven't done any sort of comparison with the pricier stuff. I figure at medium-ranges vs zombies should be okay.
They're interchangeable...it's only .003" difference
Have we ever established the ware and tear on a barrel when using .22 (couple thousand rounds a month) in a 5.56 marked barrel?
I really would like a conversion kit...
What are you talking about?
Dude, I'll reload my glock or Pmags all day -- I dread loading my ruger mags. Little fuckers are just a pain in the ass to load. Thumbs hurt more after loading 30 in a Butler mag than loading anything else
The 10rnd rotary ones are easy on the thumbs. Tactical Innovations makes some nice 25rnd 10/22 mags too. But yeah, my thumbs hurt loading hicap 10/22 mags more than any other rifle mags
Hell yeah I'm not alone.
I saw one guy at the range that had this little mag loader thing for his 10/22. He just shook it while twisting a knob and it loaded them right up. Not sure what it's called.
lol, i'd shoot my AR every damn day
one can only dream tho
Butler Creek mags they are cheap and reliable
You guys need to get Butler Creek mag loaders
best $25 spent. You can load a 25 rnd butler creek mag in about 45sec-1 min. and all you have to do is make sure the hopper is full and rotate the knob.
i'd like to know as well
low low low, low, very low . You never find a shot out .22lr barrel, you just find .22 barrels that have been ruined by people and their cleaning practices.
Ok, so if I were to invest in a .22LR conversion kit for my AR -- I could in theory fire off a couple thousand rounds a month in practice...
Sure why not?
It's a gun not a vhs tape or something..
Yeah I know, but the thought of having already paid out a grand in parts to build one, well I didn't want to start pushing shit through it and knowing I'd have to replace the barrel in a year
I doubt you would f anything up in an ar with .22
