If I'm drinking 3 shakes of just water + whey each day..

    ..one upon waking, one about 4-6pm and one PWO at like 11:30 pm, am I retaining it all or just pissing it out? I need to know if I just need to substitute one of them with just regular old real food. :o

    the ol'pissing it out myth. yah everyone in the late 90's said the same thing about creatine. My answer: who gives a shit, don't worry about the small stuff

    Breakfast:
    5 eggs
    Raw vegetable + hummus
    One cup oats
    60g Whey in water

    Snack 1:
    2 tbsp peanut butter
    Tuna
    Some fruit

    Lunch:
    beef/chicken/turkey and some starch with cut up vegetables for some pasta

    Snack 2:
    Almonds
    Usually a sandwhich
    60g Whey in water

    Workout

    PWO:
    60g Whey while leaving gym

    30 minutes

    Some lean meat and carb usually..

    This is just an estimate .. I really have no idea what all I eat throughout the day but I try to eat as much nutritional food as possible.

    thats what im asking. drinking it is easier than chowing down another chicken breast / turkey patty etc

    you're fine dude. as long as you need the calories, you'll be fine.
    I need 6000 cals/day so i drink around 3-5 shakes per day.

    the 2nd shake seems a bit excessive, but it's better to get more protein than not enough...

    I always have 3, sometimes more, shakes a day. I think it's fine.
