Anyone else get this? It doesn't hurt or anything and it always happens if I haven't cracked it for a while. I don't know what it could be... Is anything supposed to crack/pop there? :noes: It occurs in the mid chest region. A lil right of the heart maybe. It cracks close to the surface...

Mine does this sometimes if I stretch really hard. I never really worried about it. :dunno:

It's hypermobilty of the costo-sternal joints.

More than likely, youve got a rib out.

Feel for point tenderness under where your ribs and sternum meet.

Oh right, because everything fuses together at the ripe old age of 6.

    Don't be an idiot.

I've been taught that the ribs are mobile too but because you have popping doesn't mean you have a rib out

If they're popping at the sternum, more than likely, those are the ones that are hypermobile.

They're compensating for the ones that are stuck. The same thing was happening to me. It has a lot to do with working your chext too hard and your back not enough.

I've never read anything that supports that but anecdotally I've noticed it quit when I focused more on building my back up.
