He beat Griffin, Bocek, and Fisher. What other lw could we look at being ahead of him?

Stevenson just lost, Huerta is taking 8 months off and still has only really beaten one quality opponent, and Guida is 1-3 in his last 4 fights

Florian deserves a shot over Edgar. Mishima, Robinson, Thomas> Griffin, Bocek, Fisher

    . and .

Edgar still hasnt built up a name unfortunately so it wouldnt sell much. I think his wrecking Florian would be just the boost he needs to sell PPVs.

  10. Other guys in the hunt: Kenflo, Huerta, and Griffin (if griffin wins, obviously)

and when's Mac Danzig getting his first UFC fight? IMHO he's not too far off of a matchup with a top-5 ufc LW

imo a top 5 UFC lightweight is the same as a top 15 (barring Penn and Sherk of course).

I thought he is scheduled to fight soon.

Danzig is fighting in Montreal. I'd like to see him vs Huerta or Griffin later this year.

  13. he could fight one of the losers. :dunno:

This is all assuming he does the sane thing and goes back down to 155, of course.

he's scheduled to fight at 155 and he said he only plans on fighting at 155

  15. I love how more TUF winners have fought above their natural weight than below or at it.

Kinda does in all the complaints about guys cutting weight, where matt hughes is "unfair" because he's so big.

I think its because they have 6 weeks and multiple fights in those 6 weeks, as well as not knowing when you are going to fight means you have to stay around 170. If you have 6 weeks and know when you are fighting then it would be no problem to drop 15.

match up makes no sense, it should be Maynard vs. Lauzon and Ken-Flo vs. Edgar

it also shows you how stupid the idea of having Gomi vs. Edgar would be if Maynard is his best replacement
