    I got:
The Da Vinci Code (not really freaky, but thought I would mention it)
    Carrie's Story
    The Story of O
Erotic Surrender: The Sensual Joys of Female Submission

Any comments? Any reviews? I should probably ask before I buy the books... but hindsight is 20/20 right? :mamoru:

I have read the Da Vinci Code. I liked it an thought it was really good, although I don't believe any of it to be true. It was really well written and it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time.

I'm also currently reading Da Vinci Code. Read The Story of O and loved it. Haven't read the other two.

Da Vinci was interesting but just seemed like too fast of a read for me.
Dan Brown has another novel called Digital Fortress about the NSA that was also a decent quick read.
I dunno, I guess I spent too many years buried in strange fiction for Dan Brown to seem very original to me. I'm not sure why everyone is so enamored with him. I kinda put him in the same category with Dean Koonts. Workable fiction, but slightly predictable.

    Haven't heard of the others.
    Who are the authors?

Oh god, I'll have to look when I get home. I don't remember any of the authors. Check them out on amazon if you want to know quicker.

Some of the "facts" in the Da Vinci Code are actually true. Not many but a few. And it wasn't meant to be taken as reality... its a fiction novel. Thats why they call it fiction :mamoru: There's a thread over in LAOT if anyone is interested in hearing a bunch of religious nuts argue about the book.

Your right it is a fiction novel but their are TONS of people who take the book to heart and believe it, and I know quite a few. If you've noticed since that book came out it seems like every station on tv has done some sort of special on it!
