Man some of these read like stereo instructions.

Ok, so on my G19 -- can I have an OEM extended mag release or an aftermarket extended mag release? And if it's aftermarket, can I only have the same size button or the larger bottun on the release? LIke this http://www.glockworld.com/competition.htm#extmag

I think at the local level you really don't need to worry about it. Go out and have fun.

it's always good to practice and shoot correctly. But yes, as long as you use the Glock OEM extended mag release and extended slide release you are okay.

    Reference: IDPA 2005 Rules Handbook

    http://www.idpa.com/Documents/IDPARuleBook2005.pdf

Read page 20, they have a special exerpt just for Glock safe action pistols.

For IDPA, shooting in SSP or ESP, you are permitted to use the "Stock G35-34" mag release which is an extended mag release, NOT an aftermarket one.

The rule is, if you can order it from the factory with that stock OEM part, you are okay. With Glocks, you can order your glock with a G34-35 factory OEM extended mag release.

On my G17, I have both extended G35 controls and it's perfectly legal in both Stock Serv Pistols and Enhanced Serv Pistols. I ordered and installed the stock G35 Slide release and Mag release.

I have never worn a hat that fits me as well as the IDPA hats from this year.

Actually it's for shooters, especially old folks, to not kneel down on sharp gravel and the like. The bays are mostly muddy during the fall/winter so getting dirty is not something one can be concerned with.

lol, thanks, I try. I was doing it to fuck with Cel's head a little. We have this little competitive thing going.

Hopefully see you at the next IDPA match? When are you and Darryl getting your USPSA safety checks? Tell him to hit me up.

Will do. We want to get our safety checks soon. I'm not sure I'll make the Oct. IDPA match because he and I are going to the OR match, but my brother is coming home for good in Nov and wants to try IDPA, so the Nov match is a near certainty.
