Any ideas on a stand to attach IDPA/IPSC style targets? I use PVC for my regular stands, and would prefer to stay away from them, as they get pricy, especially when you lose parts from being shot out.

I have wooden pallets available, and an endless supply of cardboard. Any ideas? Would not mind spending a little money, but I want to have at least 3 targets.

Wood is super cheap right now, in my area anyway. You could probably build a few stands for under $10.

Any ideas on what to do?

What kind of wood, any kind of designs? I have no clue what would work.

I've seen similar designs. PVC gets expensive if you want to make multiple target stands.

Each joint elbow and T cost about 35 cents.

Each section of 16" PVC runs 89 cents. I need 4 elbows, 4 Ts and 11 16" sections of PVC pipe to make one complete target stand:

I just 2x4 h-stands as bases, with furring strips for uprights.

That would probably be the best way to go.

  9. That's how all the clubs around here do it. I built 2 of them with nice treated wood for $7 to use myself.

order a few ipsc and idpa targets from letargets.com and then cut the rest out yourself with your cardboard
