    I have to do a roll of b&w for my phot class and the theme is "to be continued." If anyone has any ideas, that you be great.

  2. too easy...

    Think of a situation where something is about to happen but you can't see the result. Re-create the vision that you had in your mind and take a shot of it. Seriously, think of something that your viewers will WANT TO SEE MORE.... but they can't because it's "to be continued"

    here's an easy one...

    Guy + Girl = What kinda situation could you put them in where you can end the photo sequence and leave your audience waiting to see more. If you can't think of anything please hang yourself with your camera strap.

    Take one shot of anything unfinished (half a sandwich, a construction site, partially assembled jigsaw puzzle, etc) then process the entire roll and contact sheet the one shot and a bunch of blank film. :dunno:

  4. "doing a roll" = 24 shots

    I'm thinking that the assignment is a series of 24 shots that lead up to an unfinished ending.

    Boy wakes up, takes shower, blah blah blah blah blah meets girl at coffee shot, goes to work, blah blah, go out with girl for drinks, goes back to his place, girl lays on bed, guy takes off shirt.... to be continued

    Boom A+++++++

    obviously it would have to be alot more creative than that but that's just one basic idea. And you guys call yourselves pro's... :mamoru:

    Take a series of pictures of a 90 year old woman stripping down to take a shower. I know I'd want to see more.

    Yea, sure...

  8. i'm tellin you, do something simple and interesting like what I suggested. I was hoping you didnt need to shoot a 36 exposure roll... those are the worst for assignments!!

    Good luck :o

    do a stop motion series with all of your exposures... Staple them on the edge and flick them through like a movie.

    So, you have to finish the roll for an assignment that is by nature unfinished? oh the ironing:noes:

  11. when is the assignment due? pay me and I'll seriously do it for you :bigthumb: Does it have to be TMAX or regular b&w film? I have a 36exp roll of TMAX in the can now, only shot maybe 2 pics.

    Take a picture of your roll of B&W film, then Kodak Ektachrome, then some other fancy color film, then a cheap digicam, then a nice dSLR. :)
