I still have 2 months before I can get any handguns, and I wanted to pick something up over thanksgiving. I have an over/under shotgun, I'm picking up a mossberg 590, I've got a 10/22 and my RRA M4gery. Any ideas for something else? I was thinking about getting a bolt-action rifle for shooting long distances :dunno: recommendations?

    CZ in .308 or 30-06
FN has the SPR and PBR rifles with the latter being less expensive.
They guarantee the SPR will meet a 1 MOA or better standard.

Impact has them for under $1300

"Features a pre-'64 Winchester type action with claw extractor, controlled round feed and a three-position safety. The FN A1a has a heavy chrome lined 20" fluted or non-fluted barrel. McMillan A3 tactical fiberglass stock and your choice of a detachable box magazine (DBM) or a hinged floorplate."

That's still not that great, Weatherby has a Vanguard Sub MOA that's guaranteed to sub MOA for around $800. Besides, alot of factory rifles will shoot a 3 shot 1" group with good factory ammo nowadays.

though if I had to do it over again, i'd go with the savage and the accutrigger in .22-250

    10FPLE1.

Unless you can afford the one with the McMillan stock.. 10FPLE2B :wackit:

either one is a good gun, the mcmillan is going to be around $600 or so.. the standard 10FPLE1 will be about $250-300

Basically the same stock as the PSP without the palm swell, for less. I'm getting my Jewell trigger in a month or so.

What kind of butt stock shell holder is that? and does it provide a raised comb?

Remington doesn't make a PSP. I'm guessing you're thinking of the PSS, which they now just call the 700P. Nice setup btw. I've got a 700P LTR in .308

Yeah, I was thinking PSS. I always get that wrong:o
I got the buttstock pouch from blackhawk and they have adjustable cheek pads, eagle industries has them too I think.
It raises it a little I guess. I've just got a 40mm objective and fairly low rings so I don't really need to raise the comb. Provides a nice cheek weld though.
