I'm considering that bike. It would be my first street bike. I've been on dirt bikes before, so I have at least a base to start with. I would obviously take the MSF class once I got the bike. All this FZR obsession came after the guy on here posted pictures of his Blazing Copper FZR . Anyhow, opinions? I know the description doesn't say much and there aren't any pictures, but I may call the guy and ask to take a look at it this weekend. I could snap some pictures then. Anything to look out for on these bikes? Any common problems with them? Thanks for anyone who helps.

For some reason, I actually like that double headlight. The one posted a couple of days ago looks beautiful, too. I'd get mine custom painted more than likely, but I'm not sure what color I'd go. Possibly toreador red. :dunno:

That seems like an appropriate price anyhow?

  8. Not a bad deal I guess. It only has 5k miles on it. He says OBO on the price... try to talk him down to $3,500 or $3,250.

    Twin headlights rock!!!

I'm going to call him right now. I'm becoming impatient.

I'm out of town on a business trip until Friday, and the owner of the bike leaves Friday until Monday. I'm going to meet up with him Monday or Tuesday, depending on when he gets home. I've never ridden a street bike, so odds are I won't ride this one. But I will have someone who is more experienced come look at it with me a 2nd time if all goes well. The owner of the bike said that was cool with him. Seems like a real nice guy. Said he just doesnt' have time for it anymore. New tires in the front and back, went with the stock tires. I've read mixed reviews about them, but if they're new and OEM they can't be too bad I suppose. The only 'mod' he's done is put on a smoked windscreen. Other than that he said it's 100% stock. He's owned it since new. Was his first street bike. It's black with white/grey FZR lettering and a helmet that matches.
