My Icon Merc (textile) jacket has held up alright, not nearly as well as my Alpinestars one though. The gloves I bought have absolutely fallen apart though, seams started going after a couple months. Most of their leather jackets look passable though, better quality than the textiles at least.

i bought a icon daytona (non retro) from newenough for under 200. it was fine, only downfalls are the hard leather (not soft and easily flexible), and neck line.

otherwise fine. only use it for cold days anyways, looking to sell here soon to get a 2pc set.

No personal experience with Icon, but from what I have read and heard I won't buy from them. Personally I want to know what I'm buying is tested and durable and I don't want to have any second thoughts about my gear if something were to happen.

If I was racing, I wouldn't wear ICON gear. Alpinestar or Dainese for that.

For daily commuting or road trips though ICON is just fine. If you take a spill it will do it's job.
