    ho boy

powerbook bus is faster, and has higher proc speeds
you can upgrade the ram to more than what you can with the iBook
    faster hard drive
DVI out (dunno if 14 inch ibook has this)
able to use 2nd monitor, instead of just mirroring video on iBook

mm... that's all I can think of

12 inch powerbook maxed out to the hilt

superdrive (dvd burner and cd burner) OR combo (dvd reader and cd burner) is your call

go with the 15" powerbook the 14" can only run 1024X788 resolution. which sucks if you use any photo or video apps.

pbook for sure... why would you consider less?

but I'd go with the 12" for portability.

if performance is an issue go for the powerbook, otherwise go for whichever looks better :)

I think the Powerbook is much nicer overall. The iBook will become dated before the Powerbook as well.

Powerbook. There's many other places to go that are cheaper than apple.com btw.

Go with the Powerbook. I did and I am very happy. That white plastic bothers me a lot. Not to mention the slower speeds and everything. You'll be very happy that you went with the PB.
