I'm looking to get an iBook off ebay for a great price, but there's one problem listed in the description and I was wondering if anyone could tell immediately what the problem could be? He says the screen powers on but stays white - he thinks it's a loose cable, could this be true? The display is fine when an external monitor is used.

The computer is still under warranty for a few months so I'm not worried about getting it fixed, but I just would like to know if it's something I could do myself (if in fact it could just be a loose cable).

it's either a loose video cable as stated above.....or it could be a bad screen. Either way if it's under warranty i'd get it if the price is good.
