I wonder how much design efficiency Ford compromised...

    A lot of course :slap: They mention this in their every story about the car.

    BUT it will still out-drive a 360 modena in every possible way, while being cheaper, more reliable and better looking (IN MY OPINION of course on the better looking thing). :)

    Basically the big problem was that the old design was horribly un-aerodynamic (you just need to look at how the gt40 evolved as a race car to see how it got better at that).

    They slapped an underbody aero package on it (front airdam like a vette, and a huge rear diffuser) that supposedly fixed it. :)
