They have hardly anything worth buying. Only things I've liked from them were:

    C5 Z06
    C6 Z06
    Mustang GT-R
    Ford GT

Thats pretty much about it IMO....rest of the crap they've built in the last 10 years has been absolute shit. Hopefully they go bankrupt and it makes way for better cars.

Keep building crap that no one wants and you deserve to be out of business.

Yes, and I wish the U.S. unemployment rate would go up dramatically, too! And I wish our trade deficit would increase above it's already all-time high. That'd be the best thing for our standard of living.

At least my Japanese relatives will have a better standard of living, thanks to short-sighted, unpatriotic consumers like you.

I don't know what it is with OT that you would wish this kind of fate on others. OT doesn't just take the stance that if they don't like it, they won't be involved with it, they take the stance that if they don't like it, no one should be ABLE to be involved with it :hsugh:

OT wouldn't be OT if that were the case. Imagine an OT where everyone only talks about stuff they like.

Btw, :fawk: for preching from your OT Mod Bible. :big grin:

Wait until your BMW breaks, don't get me wrong, i like european cars but i've fixed enough of them to know that every shit eating grin that a european car enthusiast has on their face when they come in to the shop is quickly flipped upside down when they see the amount of money they owe for the repair. Sure your car is brand new now so you probably won't have to worry about it for a while but when you do you'll think twice about bashing on everything else.

there are more systemic problems at both GM/Ford than the fact that they've lost 5% of the total market share or some such crap.

realistically, even if for example, GM was still up at the mid 20% or so market share where they think they'd like to be, their automotive operations would more than likely still be, on paper, a money losing venture.

I've had my fair share of American cars, thats why I say what I say. Also, I already know that Euro cars are crap when it comes to reliability, however I'd rather buy a car that looks good and drives good....and breaks...instead of a car that looks like trash...drives like trash...and breaks.

    Looks Good +1
    Fun to Drive +1
    Not Reliable -1

    Total Score = +1

    Looks like Crap -1
    Drives like Crap -1
    Not Reliable -1

    Total Score = -3

    :dunno:

You are truly an idiot. First of all, do some research. You'll find out that the difference in rate of depreciation is a few percentage points. You'll also find out that the quality of cars being built in the U.S. has increased significantly since the mid-80s. Go to JD Power, look up midsize cars based on initial quality and long-term reliability, and you'll find about seven of the top ten cars are American, dumbass.

But if you're stupid enough to make comments like "my pet rock", I can't really expect you to know how to read, can I?

GM and Ford are not total losses.
Ford has the Mustang, the Explorer and the number one selling pickup in America, the F150. They own part of Mazda.
GM has the Solstice, the Corvette, and there is some life showing in a few divisions. They own a portion of Subaru and Saab. All is not lost. They do need to get their act together and wash the stains of the Asstec out of our minds.

Thats the only thing keeping them afloat.

Even then GM makes shit...I'd much rather buy a Ford (I had a Ford F350 in the past).
