    I think he's trying to say despite the recent 5dmkII ISO ravings he will still be shamlessly be shooting at 1600 and be editing out the noise in post production..

    I never go over 800 really, mainly cause my cam can't handle it well enough :hs:

    I've shot at 1600 and even 3200 fairly regularly on my 40d. Indoor volleyball blows! Even at 1.8 I was having to underexpose and push in post to get a shutter of 1/250th. Fucking high school gyms...

    I never knew there was shame involved in shooting iso 1600, nor is is necessary to edit out the noise.

    I'm the type to bump the ISO as a last resort, but I have no problem using ISO 800 on my 5D if it's necessary.
