    I Put some money down on a new springfield loaded series operator. it's actually the older operator with the full length rail that they don't make anymore. Brand new. it's nice. :cool: :o

    Nice gun, that was actually the first gun I ever bought. It's the one that got me into firearms. When they first came out, they were $750 with Novak low mounts NS, full rail, ambi-safety, front checkering, and a Streamlight M3 light. That is decent package price from a GUN SHOP if I've ever seen one. Mine did take a little tweaking to get working, but once initial steps were taking to make it more reliable it never skipped a beat.

    Here are some pics of one, This one went thru a custom shop for front strap checkering and other things. Mine has chocobola grips though which come on the gun from the factory.

    very nice. I really like the Springfield 1911's. They had some A1s and others, and it felt great. Perfect for my hand, perfect weight, not too heavy or light, and had very solid actions. It is the gun I want (after a test fire at least).

    Nice purchase.
