    With one of these

looks exactly like that but in a .45LC

I cant find a lot of info on it.. but it was only $40 more than the Ruger mark II

Did I make the right choice?

The funny thing is I buy it.. 5 min background check and he puts it in a paperbag and gives it to me :big grin:

Its what they had.. its used but in very good shape and was on sale.. couldnt pass it up.. as I said it was only $40 more than a .22 Ruger

From what I am finding the .45 Colt Raging Bulls are hard to find now.. I cant find any info on it

you bet your ass you did. Nice deal. 45LC is a great round.

I would definately look over it though, the reason you may be having problems finding any info on the 45LC version is because they were 454 Casull's that can shoot the 45LC round. :) You may have a 454 Casull and the shop didn't know it. (seen it happen before)

The had a sticker on it for $469 marked down to $299... it just needs cleaned (finger printers /residue).. I checked on Taurus webpage and they warrenty anything for life even if you arent the original owner, so I cant go wrong.
I wish it was a .454 but the barrel says .45 Colt RAGING BULL on it.

So basically they made this before the .454 Casull (which I know shoots the .45lc) because I have shot them out of it.

The only upgrade I would like would be maybe a Hogue grip and maybe a differnt sight (not going to scope this one) :big grin:

actually the 45LC is a good hunting round as well. It out performs the 44 mag if you don't use the the cowboy action loads.

Yup, Taurus 454 Casull can take 45LC. Should also take .45 Schofield as well. You have to love the versitility of revolvers.

You can check the model number on their website:

    http://www.taurususa.com/products/gunselector-results.cfm?series=RB2

They have downloads for PDF manuals and specs on each. The 454SS6M is on my short list for this year. I can't wait. Should be a real attention getter at the range

Weird, it's a ghost on their site. I guess you will have to call and request a manual. I guess Taurus doesn't stamp a model number on the inside of the yoke?

If you swing out the cylinder, where the yoke connects to the frame, on the inside, are there any marking or numbers?

    Nice looking piece, btw.

I checked and didnt see any.. it seriously looks almost brand new I could blow up the pics to full size ( 2500X 1900) so you can see the full texture but they are too big to upload.
I am glad it had some black stuff on the orange back part of the handle that wouldnt come off.. little nitrosolvent and scrubb with a cleaning patch its good as new.. scrubbed down all the cylinders and barrel with my new .45 cleaning brush got some residue out.. lightly rub down.. and polished with a silicone cloth to remove finger prints and put it almost too a new shine.

I wish I would of gotten to shoot it today :wtc: :wtc: :wtc:

I went to go buy a MarkII yesterday but came home with a Smith Model 41 instead.

I guess the MarkIIs aren't getting much love from OT.

Can't do it with that. At least not in any competitions around here, they always say single action only.
