i washed my car today

    first time in 3 months :coold:

    thanks for all the useful info in the stickies, cause my shit is in serious need of attention. one question... would local retailers like autozone/napa/o'reilly's etc carry clay bars? or am i going to have to order one online?

    napa is a distributor for meguiars, so if they don't have it on the shelf they can order it for you (24-48 hours for delivery). Although most people will tell you that the meguiars bar sucks because it's very soft. But if your paint isn't super shitty it should work.

    Did okay on my dad's van, and it was a real mess.

    Autozone and Advanced Auto both carry the mild grit blue Clay Magic kit. I think I paid like $11 for it.

    Meguiars has completely changed their clay bars, but some of the old ones may still be on store shelves. For at least the next few months, I'd stick with the Clay Magic bars. Hopefully when everyone comes out of their winter detailing hibernation, only the new Meguiars bars will be in stores. I used them when I was out at their headquarters in Irvine and they are much better than the old soft ones.

    If you can, order up some Pinnacle Clay. Its some of the best clay I've ever used.

    they are all new ones at canadian tire stores in london :big grin:

    I have one, and it worked well on the 350Z today.
