Why am I carrying? Because I'm allowed to. Police already know, it's tied to my license. Beyond that, why? Simply because I can. Police need no more explanation than that.

was bowling the other day and some guy came in and was totally staring at me and my work buddies (we were the only ones under senior citizen age there at the time). hes in a suit and tie and asks to see the manager. manager comes out and this douche takes off his suit jacket and looks right at us as he sits down. hes got a glock holstered, and cuffs on his back belt loop. you could tell he wasnt a po, i was thinking armed security. but he made a huge deal that he was carrying.

ps we dont have ccw here so i have no idea what he was doing. im thinking they were making final plans for some party the alley was hosting or something along those lines

Outline of your gun shows through your shirt.

Most people have no idea what printing is, they wouldn't guess you had a gun on your belt if you had a huge grip outline. Most people are sheeple. Don't worry about it, unless you live in Florida, or somewhere else printing is illegal.

The last thing I'm going to tell a cop when he pulls me over is that I have a gun. If he asks then I'll be honest. 99% of the time, unless you've got a CCL from CO and you're on their criminal data base, they won't even ask.

Some states require you tell a cop you are carrying if you are stopped.

Nope. Some states REQUIRE you to volunteer the info if you have any interaction with the police.

My friend said in TX that if you are pulled over you must present your CHL with your license

LA is the same. Must tell any officer you're carrying if they approach you in an official manner or something like that.

Same goes for Oklahoma. It's no big deal. Hand the officer your CHL with your DL and let them decide how the situation pans out.

Only required ON REQUEST in Arizona. They say it's a good idea to let any peace officer know if you're stopped though. They appreciate it.

Not required here in NV. I still tell them though because as Verm explained, it's alot easier to tell them and let them know then if they were to see it and literally drag you out of the car at gunpoint because they see a weapon.

I put both hands on the steering wheel and don't move an inch until the cop tells me it's ok. (course being black, that's amost inbred for us :) )

I thought that printing in some states or local municipalities could be considered brandishing because it's no longer concealed. Your job with a concealed weapon is to make sure it's concealed from everyone.
