I was on one of two flat benches that were side-by-side doing DB presses. Somebody had left a 60lb DB underneath the other one. The PT goes and puts it away, then has some behemoth of a woman sit down next to me. I think, "No big deal," but it was a big deal...a big fucking deal.

He decides to start blabbering all sorts of nonsense to this lady about how her nervous system wasn't used to lifting weights. He had given her a 20lb DB to curl and she was like "It's too heavy." He tells her that after 2 weeks of TRYING to lift that 20lb DB, she'd be able to do it because her nervous system would catch up. I was like :wtf:.

At this point, I was a little annoyed. What he did next made me want to punch him in the face with the DB I was holding. The motherfucker tries to squeeze between the two flat benches (he could have easily walked around) and bumps my fucking arm mid-rep. It took everything I had to keep the weight from falling on my chest. He looks back and goes "Oh haha, sorry." I wanted to fucking kill him right then and there.

I finish my set and go to rerack my DB's only to find that his stupid piece of shit self had put the 60lb DB where my DB's were supposed to go.

Cliffs: I'm doing DB press, PT starts spouting BS to some fatty he's "training," bumps my arm and almost makes me drop the DB on my chest, and reracks a DB in the wrong spot.

And you sat there like a puss and didn't say anything, pretty typical F&N complaint thread.

I told him to watch where the fuck he was going, but do you think it helped? The guy is a total douche who has probably done the same thing 20x before.

Soudns like a horrible physical therapist. I'm sure there are plenty of fully grown, healthy women who would have an extremely hard time curling a 20.

i've seen/heard alot of that kinda garbage from PTs at the 24hr gyms i go to. What kind of requirements must they meet to get that job? I mean, is it just like getting a job at Best Buy or something and going thru an orientation?

I used to try and get "ideas" for a new workout routine, or some way to supplement body parts I was doing that day from the personal trainers at the YMCA. Talk about a group of worthless ass know nothings. Yes, for shoulders, just jump over here on this machine, and do military presses. Yes, I know, I just watched you do military presses, but the machine is better. I'd just be like :hsugh: and then walk off to do something else.
