So I got out of the Marines in september 07. I would like to go and visit parris island next weekend. My question is, can I still get on base if I'm inactive. I'm assuming I can, but before I drive 400 miles figured I would ask.

perhaps call ahead, but you are still a part of the Marines

I don't see why not, but it would be best to call.

not sure how it is with the marines, but for the navy you can't get into RTC Great Lakes without a special base sticker. it doesn't matter what your status is.

you have to be stationed at boot camp to get on base.
