I want to uninstall iTunes and install 6.something instead

    how do i uninstall iTunes? I have OSX on a MBP. iTunes 7 sucks

    itunes 6 is on your OSX install disc, this thread might help you uninstall 7

    I don't have an install disc, atleast not w/ me, i was using the iTunes 6 from oldapps.com, it won't install though

    pretty sure, lemme go back and see

    EDIT: missed a piece of the receipt thing, it was hiding, lemme see if i can get the dumb thing to import correctly

    EDIT x2: fully installed and running, but it's still freezing up on some cd's, and it's not the CD because it worked perfectly on a friends iTunes and fully imported to his comp no problem

    are the MBP DVD drives just really sensitive? it's almost as if it gets more and more sensitive about what CD's it will read the more i use the damn thing, it used to rip almost anything, and now if it's slightly scratched it won't do anything
