    I've been looking for a 930SPX. If I can't find one, I'll get either a 1100 or 11-87.

  3. Oh, that's what he was talking about. I thought he was looking to trade his Surefire 500A for a 930, but I couldn't find any light called that. :o

Hah, yeah, Mossberg. I found a 930SPX in Sacramento, but I don't really want to pay $600 for one. I'd like a regular HD model. I don't think I'd ever use the rifle sights or rail.

I'm too lazy to drive out to Sac. I'll keep looking for one here in the bay.

How do these compare to 1100/11-87s?

I wanted a 930 for a while.. Do some reading on it before you make a decision. I'd personally go with the remington or preferably the benelli.

How do they compare price-wise? Basically I wanted to sell my 500, add a couple hundred and buy the 930.

    Mossberg 500A: $200.00-$300.00
    Mossberg 930spx: $550.00-$700.00
    Remington 1100: $550.00-$850.00
    Benelli M4: $1200.00-$1400.00

Or they're somewhere close to those prices.

Interesting. Might have to look into the Remington.
I've always wanted a Remy. My name is Remy, so it just makes sense.

Dicks Sporting Goods was selling the 930SPX for a while for dirt cheap. I went and looked at one at a local store. Seemed alright but like someone said the reviews they get were under impressive.
