    I just bought my father-in-law a G10 for his birthday to replace his aging G2. I just got done playing w/ it... and :eek3:

    No, he opened it and started asking me questions about it. I told him to leave it w/ me and I'll mess w/ it and let him know the things he needs to know. Great camera, TONS of features. :cool:

    Wife, her sister, and I bought it for their dad as a birthday present from B&H w/ my D700. Got it today, fuckers threw in a carrying case and 4 GB of SD cards in there for FREE!!! :bowdown:

    But to answer your question, $504 is what we paid.

    you think you can send me some pics...im kind interested. i wanted a d90 but i dont think the video option is really worth the price difference.

    I wouldn't mind picking one of these up to play around with.

    G10 that much better than G9?

    It's kind of just a toy anyways. I never pack around a camera for casual stuff.
    Don't even bother to bring my little SD400 anymore.
