man vista doesnt like me, if anyone can explain this to me i would deeply appreciate it. heres my problamo.

i just started DLing music onto my new computer, didnt have any problems with my old computer. after the music is downloaded onto my shit, vista wont let me move the file out of the azureus file. it tells me that i "dont have permission to move this file".

is this something i can change? i thought i was totally screwed because maybe it was something vista does with all DLed music, some safe guard or something, but it will let me listen to the music on my computer, i just have to go to that file in my documents instead of going to the rest of in my music.

i wanted to put the shit i DLed onto my ipod. i kept monkeying around with it and it ended up letting me burn what i DLed onto a disk, then i ripped it off the disk and put it on itunes. since it let me do that there has to be a way for me to just move it from one file to another.

i will love it if anyone can explain to me what the fuck is up.

I'd help you but you keep using the word file instead of folder and it pisses me off.

You do know that if you are uploading a torrent after you finish downloading, you can't move the file, right?

Music for free that's not illegal :) Of course it has a restriction on it so you can't play it on any other computer, but it's free... think of it as a free demo for songs that you wish you could hear.

Oh, and it's only for college students.

I download the songs onto my computer, and if the band is good enough, I go snake a deal with a local music shop to sell me the CD for $9.99. Latest buy was Silversun Pickups... next week I think i might try Satellite Party.
